Fully vitrified porcelain; water absorption is 0 percent . Double fired. Fully glazed foot to avoid the scratching between the plate while stacking. Our matte is better as this is a high temperature bisque firing and low temperature glaze firing. The glaze is made of frit which is already fired once to be like glass, no raw material made of stone glaze (like our competitors), so the glaze is not coarse and will resist knife marks (like those on stoneware which use stone glaze). Mixes perfectly with basic whites and artisan pieces.
