Kraut-Chi is a hybrid of Kimchi and Kraut, using Sauerkraut's traditional ingredients and applying traditional Kimchi ferment making techniques. Our clean ingredient list is longer than traditional sauerkraut and it creates more exciting and complex flavor, Gamchil-Mat (aka Umami flavor) We use fresh lemongrass and you can taste bright lemony and citrusy flavor. It also has a tiny bit of chili pepper and you will notice the slight heat comes at the end. It's fun and unique flavor for those who love lemongrass. We have noticed that this Kraut-chi goes very well with Asian foods such as Bahnmi (Vietnames sandwich), Asian flavored BBQ, stir fried rice, grilled fish, and many more. It's also a great side to any other meals such as salad or sandwich. Handmade and naturally fermented, it is a truly wholesome food, good for anyone with diet restrictions (gluten free) and it’s vegan.
