The Simplot Freezerfrige Hash Brown Potato makes delicious hash brown. These half-inch potato cubes save preparation time and effort. Being versatile in nature, these can also be used in soups, casseroles, and salads. Available in a bulk case of 4 packs, the Simplot Freezerfrige Hash Brown Potato is ideal for supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail outlets.
Cubes are great for country style hash browns. Can receive frozen and store in walk-in refrigerator up to 4 days thawed. No oil, no preservatives, no additives. Peeled, trimmed, cut, and €œready to use.€
Preparation instruction: Thaw potatoes in the refrigerator. Use refrigerated potatoes within 4 days. GRIDDLE: Heat griddle to 375°F. Spread a thin layer of oil over the griddle (3 to 4 tablespoons of oil per pound of potatoes). Arrange hash browns in a thin layer on the griddle. Frozen: Cook for 16 minutes. Turn as needed for even browning. Thawed: Cook for 15 minutes. Turn as needed for even browning. DEEP FRYER: Temperature 345°F. Cook from FROZEN ONLY to prevent excess spattering. Fill fryer basket no more than 1/3 full. Fry for 3½ minutes.
