The Michael Foods Northern Star Shredded Hash Brown Potato is made from fresh Russet potatoes. These hash brown potatoes are partially cooked and have a delicious flavor. The bulk pack of Michael Foods Northern Star Hash Brown Potatoes is ideal for restaurants and diners.

Made from fresh Russet potatoes. Never frozen - partially cooked for ideal texture and performance,arrives prepared, refrigerated and ready-to-cook. Scratch-quality hash browns saves time and labor with improved yields.

Preparation instruction: Preheat Temp 375°F-400 °F; Place 1 pound of potatoes on a preheated (375°F-400°F) oiled (1/8 C) grill. Pour 1/8 C of vegetable oil on the top of the potatoes. Allow potatoes to cook, undisturbed, until bottom shreds are golden brown (3-6 minutes). Flip potatoes and fry for an additional 4-5 minutes. Make sure product reaches a temperature of 165°F for 2 minutes.; Due to variance in equipment, heating time and temperature may require adjustment. Product should be heated to 165°F (74°C) internal temperature.
