Pre-cooked Cavatelli

The Celentano Precooked Cavatelli is a tender tube-shaped pasta, with ricotta cheese blended into the dough. This precooked pasta comes in handy for quick meal recipes and saves tons of labor. Great for serving with pesto or a variety of other sauces, this flavorful pasta makes for a delicious addition to lunch and dinner menus. 24 oz. PRE-COOKED CAVATELLI

Preparation instruction: 1. DO NOT DEFROST. If cavatelli are stuck together please do not try and separate. They will usually separate while cooking. 2. Bring 2-3 quarts of water to a boil. (optional: add 1 tablespoon oil to prevent sticking) . 3. Add cavatelli to boiling water. 4. Stir occasionally. 5. Allow to simmer at a very slow boil for 5-7 minutes or until desired tenderness. 6. Drain carefully. 7. Serve with your favorite sauce. MICROWAVE COOKING Mix together 1/4 cup water and 1/2 cup of your favorite sauce with 1 cup of cavatelli. Place in a microwaveable dish. Heat on HIGH power (100%) for 2-3 minutes stirring halfway. Let stand covered for 1-2 minutes before serving. Remove cover carefully as steam is hot.
