Using Tone's Cream of Tartar will improve the quality of egg foams, candy and frostings. It will also add tenderness to the foods it is added to. Using Cream of Tartar in cakes will make the cake grain finer and moister.
Preparation type: BAKE
Preparation instructions: Use 1/4 tsp. per 4 egg whites. Add to egg whites during the beating process. To make baking powder, combine 2 tsp. Cream of Tartar, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp Cornstarch and mix well.
