Choose between metal, wooden and Poly rolling pins. Heavy and larger rolling pins make your work easier. Remember that with larger rolling pins, your hands wont touch the pastry. Be sure to add enough flour to prevent sticking. As for styles, there is the traditional and then the french rolling pin - its really a matter of personal preference. Don't leave your rolling pin in water or put it in the dishwasher. Just use a moist cloth to clean off rolling pins after use.
