Probably when you think of cranberries, you think of their role in a traditional Thanksgiving meal. However, you do not have to wait for the fall. In fact, just make sure that you have dried cranberries on hand all throughout the year. As one of the few super fruits, packed with powerful antioxidants cranberries can prevent all kind of ailments (too many to list here!). Luckily for us, dried cranberries contain similar health benefits as fresh cranberries. You can eat right out of the packet or add to hot cereals, pies, muffins, smoothies... And, of course, for your cranberry sauce recipe!
