Traditional yellow rice side dish with a little extra seasoning to make is uniquely South Louisiana. Great with almost any meal prepared with meats, poultry, or seafood.
Preparation type: SIMMER
Preparation instructions: In a large skillet, bring 2 1/2 cups cool water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine to a boil. Add contents of package. Return to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
