The Hormel Health Labs SHAPE & SERVE® Thickener helps provide shape and texture to pureed food while enhancing its natural flavor. The shaping molds can be used with a variety of food to beautifully plate pureed dishes. The bulk case is ideal for pharmacies, drug stores, health institutes and care facilities.
Preparation instruction: 1. Puree cooked meat or vegetable to fine consistency using food processor. 2. Gradually add hot liquid and process to smooth consistency. Use broth or cooking liquid for optimum flavor. 3. Add Shape & Serve and process until well blended. 4. Coat pan generously with food release. Pour mixture into pan. 5. Cover lightly with film, then foil and steam or cook according to directions and to an internal temperature of 165 F is reached. 6. Allow to stand 10-15 minutes. 7. Cut into desired shape and serve.
