Preparation instruction: Thaw crab cakes by tempering cakes to semi-soft consistency in refrigerator prior to cooking. DEEP FRY: Preheat fryer to 350°F. Fry for about 3 minutes. CONVENTIONAL OVEN: Par fry for 30-35 seconds at 350°F then bake at 375°F for 7-8 minutes. CONVECTION OVEN: Par fry for 30-45 seconds at 350°F then bake at 350°F for 6-7 minutes. BROIL: On high heat with rack at center oven position. Broil cakes for about 3 minutes. Turn and baste with mayonnaise and broil for about 3 more minutes. *Cook to an internal temperature of 165°F MINIMUM.* Adjust cooking time depending upon appliance characteristics.
