The FPI Oven Ready Country Style Battered Cod Portions are a perfect entree option. These ready-to-eat cod portions are battered with spices and herbs for country-style inspired flavor and pair well with fries or tartar sauce on the side. Available in a bulk pack, the FPI cod portions are ideal for seafood restaurants, delis and retail stores.
Country Fry Breaded Cod Portion 3.75 oz.
Coating made of a special blend of flour and seasonings that is reminiscent of homemade traditional southern fried chicken. Light, golden, crispy batter with a made from scratch appearance. Can be baked or deep fried. Ideal for appetizers, entree, baskets and platters.
Preparation instruction: COOKING INSTRUCTIONS FROM FROZEN:
TO DEEP FRY: Preheat fryer to 350°F and fry for 41/2-5 minutes. TO BAKE: Place frozen fillets on a lightly oiled sheet pan. CONVECTION OVEN: Preheat oven to 400°F and bake for 9-11 minutes.
CONVENTIONAL OVEN: Preheat oven to 425°F and bake for 12-14 minutes.
NOTE: COOK TO AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 165°F MINIMUM.
