American Metalcraft Faux Slate Collection Black Melamine Rectangular Tray, 18 X 8-1/4 X 2 Inch -- 18 Per Case

Slate is a gorgeous material for food presentation, but it tends to be heavy, expensive and difficult to sanitize. The modern restaurant doesn’t have time for those inconveniences, so we created the Black Faux Slate Melamine Platters. Crafted from melamine, they’re durable, lightweight and dishwasher-safe. But as far as your customers will be able to tell at first glance, they look just like the real thing. It might feel like cheating at first, but we promise that feeling will go away once you realize how easy it is to use and reuse these platters night after night. This 18″ L x 8-1/4″ W x 2″ H platter has a raised rim, which creates a visual frame for your creations and also keeps food from sliding off the edge. Vibrant foods like fresh fruits and vegetables or gastronomically adventurous hors d’oeuvres will particularly pop against the black faux slate backdrop, but we’ve found that just about anything looks delicious on these trays. Embrace the power of melamine, and give your buffet presentation an easy upgrade. Not recommended for microwave use.
