Preparation instructions: Drain and retain the juice from canned, fresh or frozen fruit. In a pot, combine approximately 2/3 of the juice with 1 -2 pounds of sugar. Bring to a boil. Make a sauce with the remaining fruit juice and 8 oz. of our Red Berry Pie Tone. Pour this sauce into the boiling syrup. Bring back to a boil while stirring. Add the drained fruit immediately. Stir to incorporate. Pour the filling into pie or tart shells and bake at your normal time and temperature.
