I made my first batch of granola in the early 90s while living in Chappaqua, New York and working on Wall Street. I tinkered with the original recipe until I developed an exceptionally tasty and figure friendly granola. Chappaqua Crunch Granolas contain far less fat and sugar than many granolas available today.
I perfected the recipe on a group of seasoned taste-testers (friends and coworkers) who were requesting more and more granola. This led to the idea that my granola hobby could be the basis for a business. After a few marketing classes, research, and with a big leap of faith, the first official Chappaqua Crunch Granola was launched.
Their granolas are naturally good for you, made by hand, and absolutely delicious.
