Preparation instructions: Step 1: Boil 2 lbs. of sugar, 6 lbs. of water and 8 oz. of butter or shortening. Step 2: Mix 1 lb. of Deluxe Pastry Cream and 2 lbs. of water in a separate mixing bowl. Add the Step 2 ingredients to the Step 1 ingredients, stirring occasionally. Cook until mixture thickens. Cool thoroughly before use. Keep the remaining mixture refrigerated after use.
