The Kaweka Food Company was founded in 2002, naming it after the picturesque Kaweka Ranges they can see from their facility in Hawkes Bay. They set out to create a meal range that would make the most of New Zealands uniqueness and naturalness while focussing on solutions that would enable good food to be enjoyed at home or anywhere by the modern busy consumer. They love good food and are totally committed to maintaining their high food safety and hygiene standards into the future. Kaweka now has a growing range of recipes, both in their own brand and also in supply to caterers and large contracts. They are in their new, custom built export capable plant, still based in Hawkes Bay and they are taking their quality message to the global stage. They remain proudly 100% New Zealand-owned and operated, and are still committed to their original philosophy. Their website will be getting an upgrade early in 2008.
