Ashman Manufacturing and Distributing Company started its business in 1987 with one product, House London Broil Sauce. Over 21 years Ashman Manufacturing and Distributing Company has grown to become one of the leading manufacturers, marketers, and distributors of gourmet foods in the Mid Atlantic region. The company ships product all over the country and exhibits at the Winter and Summer Fancy Food Shows as well as the Boston International Seafood Show. Tim Ashman served on the NASFT Scholarship Committee and has been a member of NASFT for 15 years. Ashman Manufacturing produces many lines and products some of which are proprietary (i.e. the House Seafood Marinade and Dry Blend lines and the Classic American Sauce and Dry Blend lines). Ashman is the exclusive manufacturer and distributor under a licensing agreement with the Bowman Companies (which has recently been purchased by Sazerac) for The Virginia Gentleman Bourbon BBQ Sauce line using The Virginia Gentleman Bourbon.
