White teas are considered by traditional Chinese to be a national treasure. Made from Camellia sinensis, the same plant as green and black teas, pure white tea reigns as one of the worlds greatest teas, as only the unopened buds are selected. Our rare single tip buds come from the Fujian province of China and are picked by hand only once a year in the spring. The buds are gently air dried resulting in their beautiful silvery appearance.
