Good Earth Red Tea or Rooibos (pronounced roy-boss) is the common name for a natural herb unique to South Africas Cedarberg Mountains. The name rooibos is derived from an African slang word of Dutch origin meaning "red bush". The rooibos leaves, harvested during the summer, turn red during processing. Rooibos is the main ingredient in our Red Tea Sweet & Spicy. Studies show that rooibos contains natural powerful antioxidants, some stronger antioxidants than found in black tea, along with trace elements. Red Tea also contains flavonoids and Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD), antioxidants that help protect the body against free radicals, molecules which weaken the bodys natural defense system against aging. Red tea is naturally caffeine free and is delicious hot or iced. Ingredients: A blend of Rooibos, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Chamomile, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Orange Peel, Anise Seed, Ginger Root, Artificial and Natural Flavors.
