In 1954, he and his wife Madeleine purchased property on Route 30 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania and established a retail and wholesale Italian grocery store, where they began to develop and sell authentic Italian items bearing the DeLallo name. As the years progressed, so did the trade. Today, the original Jeannette location still remains, and DeLallo products are proudly distributed throughout the country.
