Ginger

 What would Queen Elizabeth I have done without ginger? It is said that she is the one who invented the gingerbread man. Don`t know about you, but I am glad that we have the little man around at Christmas time. And ginger`s other uses are not to be denied. Where would the gingerbread man be without ginger? Queen Elizabeth I would have had to invent something else seems that we have good ole Marco Polo to thank for the wide use of ginger. Who are you going to call when a recipe calls for ginger and you have run out of fresh ginger? Don`t get stuck again, keep some ginger spice in your cupboard.
