Canned Clams

 Did you know that a clam has no head or eyes? Maybe that explains the expression `I clammed up.` Actually, there is probably a lot of things we do not know about this little hard shelled seafood. How about that it is one of the best sources of iron? This is true. Clams have a higher iron content than liver! We should count ourselves lucky knowing this fact! So if you want to build up your strength, stock up on some canned clams (much easier than catching them yourself!). Make some clam chowder, stew, or pasta dish with any of the varieties we have available. You will be feeling as strong as Popeye!
